Breathedge 2 Crew Roles & Management: What Is Confirmed (and What Is Not)
Breathedge 2 has crew management, but no official source currently confirms a fixed Engineer/Medic/Gunner class list. Here is the evidence-safe version.

Crew management is real. A neat six-class spreadsheet published before launch is not.
The official store description says each crew member has a role in ship life and management, can open new opportunities, has personal needs/goals and may react if the captain ignores the team and ship.

What we can safely say
- crew members are more than static quest-givers
- they have individual needs and goals
- crew behavior is tied to ship life/management
- the player’s attention to the crew can have consequences
- future updates are planned to add more NPCs and expand the larger ship/transport systems
What we cannot safely say yet
We found competitor pages using fixed labels such as Engineer, Scientist, Medic, Gunner, Scavenger and Botanist. We could not verify that exact class list in official pre-launch material.
So this site does not create six fake database pages just because the labels sound plausible.
The launch-build research checklist is:
- record every recruitable crew member
- record the exact in-game role label, if one exists
- document needs/goals and any management bonuses
- test whether crew choices unlock routes, crafting, ship functions or dialogue only
- separate current Early Access crew systems from future personal-spacecraft systems
Once the game is playable, this page can become a real crew database instead of a fan-made job board.
