Breathedge 2 Map Guide: Official Map UI, Markers & What We Can Verify
Breathedge 2 finally has an in-game map. Here is what the official development screenshot shows and why we are not inventing coordinates before launch.

Good news if the first Breathedge trained you to navigate by panic and oxygen percentage: Breathedge 2 has an in-game map.
The developer says the Man draws it himself. It fills in with notes and sketches as you progress and is meant to make quest markers easier to handle.

What the official map screenshot shows
The development image includes a legend with markers for:
- the Man
- story quest
- side quest
- point of interest
- suit
- “Baby”
- the Man’s backpack
- oxygen zone
It also shows a letter/number grid around the map. Because this is a development screenshot, marker names and layout can still change. We use it as official pre-launch evidence, not as a promise that every icon will ship unchanged.
Why there is no fake interactive map here yet
A useful interactive map needs verified coordinates and verified objects. Before August 31 we do not have trustworthy launch-build data for every resource, blueprint, NPC, collectible or quest marker. Filling a map with guessed points would look impressive for about five minutes and then waste everyone’s time.
Planned interactive map layers after launch verification
Once the launch build can be checked, the map data structure is ready for:
- oxygen zones / refill points
- resources
- blueprints
- repairable machines
- main quests
- side quests
- NPCs
- robots and enemies
- collectibles
- hidden / optional locations
- hazard zones
The site intentionally starts with the real official map and will add layers only as locations are verified.
